Free Canadian Phone Number

A free new Canadian phone number is immediately assigned upon registration. If a phone number is not available in the city you reside, you may select from a list of calling areas provided at time of registration. If you have friends or family that live in a different province or city than you, feel free to get a number for their calling area so that when they call you it’s a local call.

To check the rate of a call from within the app, just dial the number you want to call and click the World Rate button - you’ll automatically see the rate to place that call. You can top-up your international credits and check your current credit balance by clicking the Account tab within the app. You can also purchase international credits for your account by logging into this website after downloading and registering the mobile or PC app.

Follow Me Service

Forward incoming calls to a mobile, home, cottage or a friend’s phone number for free. Dell Voice will call up to 3 separate phone numbers at the same time. If you decide not to pick up, all calls will still be answered by your free voicemail service.

Data Usage

Dell Voice lets you place and receive calls using your existing 3G/4G or WiFi data connection. Verify if you’re using a wireless signal (WiFi) or carrier data plan to place and receive calls right from the app. Look for the WiFi/Data indicator in the app, it conveniently updates when your connection changes. Switching between WiFi and data (3G/4G) during a call is not supported.

Background Call Notification

Receive incoming call notifications even if you are using another app on your smartphone is in sleep mode.

911 Emergency Calls

Dell Voice, a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service provided by Fongo, includes support for 9-1-1 emergency calls. Keeping Your Existing Phone Number
